Gary Anthony McNally September 14, 1965 - September 14, 2025 Gary Anthony McNally, of Blawnox, Pennsylvania, passed away on his 60th birthday, September 14, 2025, in Key West, Florida. He found his final peace doing what he loved most: embracing the freedom and beauty of the outdoors. Born on September 14, 1965, Gary was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and a loyal friend to many. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Madison Nehls (Connor) and Mallory McNally, who will forever cherish her bond with her dad, a connection that transcended the miles between them; his loving parents, Carole and Raymond McNally; and his siblings, Kimberly McNally (Rick) and Michael McNally. From a young age, Gary found joy in life's simple pleasures, from casting a line into the water to the cherished tradition of hunting with his brother, father, nephew's, and friends. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, whether on a family project or one of his own. Gary's adventurous spirit, generous heart, and quiet strength touched all who knew him. Right out of High School, Gary began a lifelong career as a dedicated welder, at A.G. Mauro Company, a craft he perfected over more than four decades. He took immense pride in his work and was known for his unwavering work ethic. One of his most treasured routines was the simple act of visiting his mother for lunch nearly every day, a tradition that will forever hold a special place in her heart. Gary's greatest joy came from being a father. He was immensely proud of his daughters and their accomplishments. Their memories with him will be a source of comfort and strength. For his 60th birthday, Madison made sure he was surrounded by love, creating a beautiful celebration in the very place he felt most alive. Gary's legacy of simplicity, loyalty, and determination will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd; 930 Center Avenue Blawnox, PA, 15238. Beginning at 3 p.m. there will be a funeral service to honor Gary's life at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the STARability Foundation, a nonprofit in Naples, Florida (a place Gary loved to visit) that transforms the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He was proud of the work Madison and Connor do to support this mission. To donate, please visit http://starability.org/donate Professional services entrusted to Thomas M.
