Paul Richard Predmore Sr.

Paul R. Predmore Sr., age 85, of Blawnox, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. Born on July 11, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, Paul was the son of the late C. Clyde and Aline (Hammer) Predmore. His life was a testament to service, love, and commitment, as evidenced by his 62-year marriage to his late beloved wife, Lois J. Predmore, and his extensive contributions to the community.

Paul's professional life was marked by his dedication to public safety, having retired as captain of the Blawnox Auxiliary Police after over 50 years of honorable service. Paul's faith was reflected in his long-standing membership at Christ the King Parish, St. Edward Church in Blawnox. For 30 years, he welcomed parishioners with a warm smile as a greeter. Beyond his official roles, Paul's passion for sports and youth development shone through his 20 years of coaching little league baseball for the Astros and girls' softball.

Paul's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his children, Deborah Predmore, Paul Predmore Jr. (Jeanne), and Jen Predmore (Craig); his grandchildren, Lindsay Predmore (Nate), Brittany Gillotti (Brendan), Paige Predmore (Jake), and Brandon Predmore and great-grandchild, Jameson Gillotti. Paul also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, John Predmore, Carole Scholl, and Charles Hammer.
