Gary L. Miller, 72 of Winamac passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at home.
Born on January 19, 1953 in Winamac, he was the son of the late James and Pearl Miller.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Many people will remember Gary as the former owner and operator of Millers Restaurant in Winamac, an establishment started by his parents. Gary also formerly worked for the Braun Corporation and the Pulaski County Transfer and Recycling Station.
He was a member of the V.F.W. and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, old cars and taking his grandsons to the town park when they were younger and following ball games as they got older. Gary was also a huge Pioneer Panther and Notre Dame fan.
Survivors include his daughters, Marie Morris of Winamac, Lacey Miller of Royal Center and Ashley Miller of Lafayette, brother, Mike Miller and sister, Marjorie Burns and grandsons, Noah Miller, Hunter Morris and Bentley Miller.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
Military Rites will be performed at 3:30 p.m. and a time of sharing memories will follow.
