Gary Mimura Obituary
Dr. Mimura worked as a doctor and practiced medicine for 42 years in Dinuba, CA.
He was preceded in death by his father Ted, in 2001, and his mother Kay, in 2013, and his baby brother, in 1952.
Dr. Mimura is survived by his wife, Bernadette of Reedley; three children, Christopher Mimura and his wife, Melinda, of Fowler, Tritia Hirayama and her Husband, Bryan, of Tulare; and Bryan Mimura and his wife, Stacie, of Fresno; and seven grandchildren, Zachary and Garrett Mimura, Kiano, Kai and Kinen Hirayama and Logan and Reese Mimura.
Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Redeemer's Church, in Reedley, California.
Dopkins Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Dr. Gary Mimura, to Sierra View Homes or the American Cancer Society.

My condolences to Ms Bernadette & family. I had the pleasure of working with Dr Mimura at SKDH. I got to know him even better when he invited my daughter, Kim Cristobal to play on his Club Soccer team, the Reedley Rampage. He played a pivotal roll in her playing HS & college soccer then going on to coach several high school & college level teams. He not only taught the finer points of the game, he showed her how to lead by example, with honesty & integrity. Rest in peace Coach Gary

Gary was the sweetest nicest most caring man, friend, Dr anyone could ask for. My very first fond memory is Gary taking care of my nephew Jeff when he was a baby, Jeff had a high fever and Gary came to the house and helped break the fever and care for him. We were blessed to have him.
My second and most favorite moment with Gary is soccer with all the kids.
Gary and I had a quirk for making each other laugh, mine was to always pull the little bit of hair on his legs no matter where we were or where he was he would know instantly it was me. Such a sweet wonderful human with a great smile, he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to the family.
