I lived in Hawaii with Gary , the best time, he had no problem meeting girls and every day was a party, not many people enjoyed life in Hawaii as much as Gary , the people we met and things we did, along with Joe, Bubba and Owen. A life time of great times in one year. Later years living on Lake Cochituate , kayaking became his passion, always an open door at his house an extra kayak. A life well lived, RIP Gary!

Rest in peace, Gary. We had many fun times together. Our trip from Needham to Florida, Hawaii and back in a van was truly the adventure of a lifetime. Making and selling puka shell necklaces on Waikiki Beach and all the characters we met. Glad we kept in touch and got to see you in your final days.

Many fond memories of back in the day when a few years after high school we both reconnected when we worked retail jobs in the clothing stores of Newton Center.
Sorry to hear we lost you Gary.

I am deeply saddened at the passing of my friend and twice landlord Gary. He had a good heart and had a great love of nature and the outdoors. When I rented from Gary at his home on Lake Cochituate, it was an oasis for me. I traveled frequently for work, and Gary was a gracious host - often cooking meals for the two of us. I honestly had no idea he was wrestling with his health after having won many battles in the recent past. He seemed to be on the upswing. My most sincere condolences to Gary´s family - he will be greatly missed.
