Gary Mosher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Casper Funeral & Cremation Services on Dec. 28, 2025.
Gary Witt Mosher, age 73, of Framingham passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025 at Care Dimensions in Lincoln.
Gary grew up in Needham graduating in 1971. He travelled extensively early in adult life going West to California and Hawaii. Returning East he travelled from Down east Maine to the Florida Keys perfecting the art of salesmanship while enjoying the freedom of the road with the diversity of landscape and people.
Once settled back in Massachusetts, Gary saw the potential the Internet had for sales which drove him to embrace technology and computers. He found success and satisfaction working from home, which also left time for lake kayaking and riding his trusted E-bike.
Gary always found the best restaurant values in the area and enjoyed sharing his culinary discoveries with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his quick & edgy humor.
Gary was predeceased by his mother, J. Robin Mosher. He is survived by his daughter Marissa Logan (Matt) of Pembroke, his father Clifford Mosher of Needham, sister Jill Burke (Jim) of Maine, brother Dana Mosher of Boston, sister Kimberly Scudder (Dean) of Conway, 7 nieces and 2 nephews. He will be sadly missed by his family and long time group of friends.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In honor of Gary's memory please share a meal with a loved one or friend.

I lived in Hawaii with Gary , the best time, he had no problem meeting girls and every day was a party, not many people enjoyed life in Hawaii as much as Gary , the people we met and things we did, along with Joe, Bubba and Owen. A life time of great times in one year. Later years living on Lake Cochituate , kayaking became his passion, always an open door at his house an extra kayak. A life well lived, RIP Gary!

Rest in peace, Gary. We had many fun times together. Our trip from Needham to Florida, Hawaii and back in a van was truly the adventure of a lifetime. Making and selling puka shell necklaces on Waikiki Beach and all the characters we met. Glad we kept in touch and got to see you in your final days.

Many fond memories of back in the day when a few years after high school we both reconnected when we worked retail jobs in the clothing stores of Newton Center.
Sorry to hear we lost you Gary.

I am deeply saddened at the passing of my friend and twice landlord Gary. He had a good heart and had a great love of nature and the outdoors. When I rented from Gary at his home on Lake Cochituate, it was an oasis for me. I traveled frequently for work, and Gary was a gracious host - often cooking meals for the two of us. I honestly had no idea he was wrestling with his health after having won many battles in the recent past. He seemed to be on the upswing. My most sincere condolences to Gary´s family - he will be greatly missed.
