Gary A. Nowlan

Gary A. Nowlan, age 70, of Revere, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Lloyd) Nowlan and son of the late James A. and Norma J. (Cordes) Nowlan. He was educated in Lynn and Peabody and had lived in Woburn for many years before moving to Revere 20 years ago.
Gary had worked as a mechanical inspector for General Electric for many years until his retirement in 2018. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and was a member of the Winthrop Golf Club and the Woburn Country Club. He was also a lifelong member of the Towanda Club in Woburn. Gary loved movies and Sci-Fi, especially Star Wars and Star Trek. He enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino to play craps. He was a proud grandfather to his two beautiful grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his beloved life partner, Elizabeth "Betty" Rice; his four loving children, Darryl Nowlan and his fiancée Lori Welch, Bradley Nowlan and his wife Katelynne, Todd Nowlan, and Maggie Campbell and her husband Seth; his two beautiful grandchildren, Hannah Nowlan and Killian Nowlan; his adored step-daughter, Sarah Rice; his dear sister, Linda Roma and her husband Marcial; as well as his nieces and nephews; Michael Roma and his wife Siobhan, Marcial Roma and his wife Amber, and Miranda Laperle and her husband Ryan; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late James "Mickey" Nowlan.
His visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 2PM-6PM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
