Gary Nutting Obituary

Gary proudly joined and served in the United States Navy from August 1957 to August 1961. He was a Military Photographer and photographed Alan Shepherd, the first man in space. After returning from the service, he moved to Grundy Center and worked as a Welder and later as a Postal Clerk. Gary married and had a son. They later divorced.
Gary was saved through the song, Jesus died for me. Those left to cherish his memory are, Jim and JoAnn Nutting, Judy and Wayne Sutter and his nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service and Burial with military rites will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at West Union City Cemetery in West Union, Iowa with Jim Nutting as the officiant.
Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of West Union, Iowa is assisting the family with services.
