Gary Keith Owenby, 67, of Dallas, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Gaston County on March 4, 1956 to Faye Phillips Wright and the late Dan Howard Owenby. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky and Roger Owenby.
Gary was a dedicated family-man and loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He adored his grandson and became a coach for him when he started playing soccer and baseball.
