Gary Douglas Pearce, 75, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, January 6,2026, at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 10, 1950, in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, to the late Lonnis J. and Martha Porter Pearce. Mr. Pearce was a retired United States Air Force master sergeant and served as a radar technician. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Pearce of Valdosta; his son, Tate Pearce of Savannah; his daughter and son-in-law, Vikki and Jason Peterson of Fowlerville, Michigan; a son, Josh Pearce and a daughter, Verity Pearce both of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Justin Peterson (fiancée Sylvia Elizalde), Evan Peterson (fiancée Shelby Harrison), Emma Peterson, Haleigh Wright, and McKensley Pearce; great-grandchildren, Julia Peterson, Xavier Turner, Silas Turner and Roman Turner; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carol Keeter of Killeen, Alabama, and JoAnn and Terry Berner of Lawrence, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by two sons, Karl Pearce and Kirk Pearce and a brother, David Pearce.
A mass service for Gary Pearce will be held at 11am on Monday, January 12, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Dario Diaz officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com Carson McLane.
