Gary G. Pellicano, Esq., 66, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gregory and Joan (Handfield) Pellicano. He was the former husband of Karen Lepore-Pellicano and the proud, devoted father of Alessandra R. Pellicano and Giavanna T. Pellicano. He is also survived by his sister, Paula Pellicano, and was predeceased by his brother, Gregory Pellicano.
Gary served as an attorney for the State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. He was known for his sharp mind, generous spirit, and deep commitment to his work and community.
A man of deep faith, Gary rarely missed a Saturday evening Mass and found strength and comfort in his relationship with God. His spirituality was a constant part of his life, guiding how he treated others and carried himself each day.
Gary truly lived life with joy and humor. Naturally funny and quick-witted, he had a gift for making people laugh—effortlessly. His presence brought warmth, light, and laughter into every room. To his daughters, he was more than a father—he was their rock, their biggest supporter, and the very best dad they could have asked for.
He loved staying active and worked out daily, valuing both physical and mental wellness. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: spending time with his family, going out to eat, and visiting the casino. His easy going nature, strong faith, and deep love for those close to him will never be forgotten.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
