Gary Pinson Obituary
Mr. Pinson was born on September 2, 1945, in Atwood, Tennessee to the late Claude B. Pinson and Corrine Pinson. He retired from Bell South and served in the Army National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Pinson, Claude Pinson, Jr. and Billy Pinson.
Some of Gary's hobbies included gardening, carpentry, making music, singing and making videos for friends and family. He was well known as a jack of all trades. He was also a long-standing member of Tabernacle of the Living God in Milan, TN. He found joy in attending church, riding his Harley later in life, and spending time with his family.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Lisa Hood and Leigh Paz and his granddaughter, Sophia Hood.
A graveside service, to commemorate Gary's life, is tentatively set for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood, Tennessee.
All who knew him are welcome to attend and share their memories.

Gary will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his loving and generous spirit.
