As a former student of Townsend High School, Dink developed countless friendships and fostered many connections throughout the Middle Tennessee area. Serving as a pillar of his community and a proud member of "The Lake Boys," Dink was known for his love of the game 'Corn Hole' having won numerous trophies with his dedicated tournament partner, Charlie Cross
While he spent many years employed at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Dink's most accomplished moments were proudly displayed everywhere he went, from the license plate on his car to the hat on his head, as a proud Vietnam Veteran who courageously served his country through two deployments. We are and will forever be grateful for his service.
Dink was welcomed with open arms and preceded in death by his stepmother, Lorene Robinson; brothers, James Robinson, Jackie Robinson, Ivory Wayne Robinson, and David Robinson; sister, Marilyn Pentecost; and grandson, Marce' Gray.
A dedicated husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and a present friend, he is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Sue Moss Robinson of Winchester, TN and two cherished Children: Christopher E. (JaCenda) Robinson and Natalie N. Robinson Gray (Kenneth Wooten). Grandchildren *Honorary*: Azaria Robinson, Miah Gray, Montez Gray, and *Jasmine Coleman*. Great-Granddaughter: ZaRyah Gray. Brothers: Kenneth (Charlotte) Robinson, Doyle Pentecost, William (Shelia) Pentecost, Steve (Jennifer) Robinson, Allen (Karen) Robinson, and Floyd Robinson. Sisters: Dorothy Winton, Paulette Pentecost, Anita Holbert, Fredia (Clarence) Freeman, Nena (Earstin) Kinslow, Darlene (Curtis) Parks, and Sylvia Pentecost. Aunt: Euralene "Nun" Sheffield, and Sister-in-Laws: Kay Blackwell, Mary Childress, and Leona Moss. He will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Visitation Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 a. m. at Elk River Tabernacle with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Coleman March, Jr. officiating and Pastor Alma Herbert, eulogist.
Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester, Tennessee.
