It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Nelson Rogers, aged 62, at his residence in Lewisburg, TN. Born on September 25, 1961, in Lewisburg, he was the son of Odell and MaryLou Dalton Rogers.

Visitation will be December 11, 2023, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Bills McGaugh and Hamilton Funeral Home.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Randy Rogers; and grandchild, Taradale Rogers. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Kevin) Bishop; son, Chris Rogers; sisters, Becky (Randy) Neese, Joyce King, and Norma Fowler; grandchildren, MaKaylee Bishop, Xavier Bishop, Trintin Rogers, and Angelieca Williams.

Known in his younger years as "Rabbit" and later his nickname changed affectionately to "Baldy," Gary lived life to the fullest, always seeking joy and laughter. His infectious spirit and love for a good time made him the life of every gathering. Gary had a knack for being hardheaded and never backed down from a challenge.

Gary had a deep passion for the outdoors, whether in the woods hunting, or just enjoying the peacefulness of the lake. He was an avid supporter of Second Amendment rights and greatly enjoyed shooting guns.

One of Gary's greatest pleasures in life was watching Nascar, particularly cheering on his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Every Sunday, he could be found glued to the television, as he followed the exhilarating races with unwavering enthusiasm. A cold beer and a lively conversation were his ideal companions during these moments.

We will forever remember Gary's laughter, his zest for life, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
