Gary Ray Rogers, 80, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville.
Born October 15, 1944, in Marion, South Carolina, he was a son to the late Gary Oliver Rogers and the late Lula Violet Ammoes Rogers. Gary worked in the furniture manufacturing industry. He loved watching old westerns, the beaches in South Carolina, and visiting with family members, but most of all he loved the Lord.
He is survived by son, Ronnie Rogers of the home; brother, Jimmy Rogers of South Carolina; sisters, Ann Williams of South Carolina, Patricia Ann Elliott of South Carolina, Susan Laroe of Norfolk, Virginia, and Mary Frances “Dee” Barfield of South Carolina; and ex-wife, Betty Chavis of Thomasville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Rogers.
No services are planned at this time.
