Gary L. Schwartz, 79, of Moline, IL, passed away, Saturday July 13, 2024, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday July 18, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. The burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.
Gary was born on October 1, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Clifford L. and Zelma I. (Brunk) Schwartz. He married his first love, Shirley Jensen, in 1964. He later married Cyndy Sansale-Pynckel on May 12, 1995, in Moline. He was the owner of the White Horse Inn, Moline. Gary enjoyed gardening, fishing, and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Cyndy; children, Brian (Flora) Schwartz, Brad (Becky) Schwartz, Dawn (Jose) Velasquez; stepchildren, Stephanie (Matt) Redecker, Christina (Rolland) Raugust, Nick (Crystal) Pynckel, Brandon Hackett; sister, Deborah L. Elliott; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 step grandsons.
