Gary W. Snellbaker

Snellbaker, Gary W., - 76, of Mays Landing, NJ, passed away May 31, 2022, at home with his loving wife of 56 years by his side. He was born in Somerdale, NJ and grew up in Cologne, NJ. He graduated from Oakcrest High School where he met the love of his life Bertie. Gary served in the Army Reserve for four years and worked for the Coca-Cola Co for 43 years. He was also a former volunteer fireman, serving in Egg Harbor City and later in Laureldale, and was a former member of the Shur Shot Gunning club. Gary loved hunting, fishing, going to car shows, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite things to do was watch his grandsons play baseball. Gary is survived by his beloved wife Bertie, his son Jason Snellbaker, daughter Cathy Vanaman (Paul), and his two grandsons Matthew and Kyle Vanaman. A viewing will be held on Monday, June 6 from 10:00 to 11:00 am with services at 11:00 at the Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Ave, Egg Harbor City, NJ 609-965-0357.
