Gary Sobba Obituary
Gary Wynn Sobba, age 77, of LaCygne, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at North Point Nursing in Paola.
Gary was born on December 14, 1947, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Orville Hubert and Evelyn Mae (Cleveland) Sobba.
After graduating from high school, Gary worked in construction, traveling to Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida, where he helped build Braum’s Ice Cream stores. He later returned to the area and opened his own business, Sobba Construction, building homes throughout the community.
In his free time, Gary enjoyed farming, raising cattle, and putting up hay. He took great pride in his hard work and the life he built through dedication and perseverance.
Gary was the proud father of three children: Robbie, Ryan, and Michelle.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Pruett, and his parents.
Survivors include his sons, Robbie Sobba of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Ryan (Angel) Sobba of Parker, Kansas; his sister, Kerry (Kenny) Bohon; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
