Gary Spoonemore Obituary
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 14th at Christ Community Church beginning at 3pm, with a memorial service to follow at 4pm.
Mr. Spoonemore was born June 21, 1962 in Germany to Arley and Shirley Spoonemore.
Growing up in a military family, Gary experienced travel at an early age before his family resided to the Columbus/Phenix City area. After obtaining an Associates Degree during his academic years, he pursued a career as a general manager for a mobile homes company. He had a love for the ocean. His hobbies included fishing and watching Alabama football. The love he had for his family is something they will continue to cherish.
Mr. Spoonemore is survived by his children; Melissa Wood-Stapleman (Sam), Michael Spoonemore (Kayla) and Tricia Wise (Michael), all of Columbus, grandchildren; Tyler (Maria), Brayden, Davin, Jax, Cameron, Jagger, Myla, Mia, Ashlynn, Hunter, Alexis and Kalysta, parents, Arley and Shirley Spoonemore, brother, Larry Spoonemore (Keka) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers may be delivered to Christ Community until 1pm on October 14th.
Memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Hospice in honor of Mr. Spoonemore.
Georgia Cremation-Columbus is assisting the family with arrangements.
