Gary Stancliff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dusckas Funeral and Cremation Services Harborcreek on Oct. 4, 2023.
It is with profound sadness that the family of Gary Hamilton Stancliff announces his passing on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 42.
Gary is survived by his wife and best friend of 20 years, Emily Stancliff; his loving and talented son, Kyler Shaffer; and his baby girl, Paige Stancliff, who was the love and light of his life.
He is further survived by his mother, Dorothy Strange (Lenny); his father, Edwin Stancliff, Sr. (Barb); his brothers: Edwin Stancliff and Joshua Stanford (Jessica); his sisters: Nicky Stancliff (Denny) and Mersadie Stancliff; his mother-in-law, Ann Bork (Dave); sisters-in-law: Allisyn and Lauren Johnson; his beloved dogs: TJ, Izzy and Cobain; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his grandmother, Margaret Ann Feeney. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, father-in-law, and an aunt.
Gary graduated from Union City High School in 1999 and went on to follow in his beloved grandfather's footsteps and joined the United States Army. After his service, he went on to become a gifted carpenter. There was nothing he couldn't repair or build. "String" was a founding member of "The Wrecking Crew". He enjoyed anything on wheels that went fast and loved his motorcycles. He loved sports and was a life-long fan of the Chicago Bears. Gary will be remembered for his beautiful soul, incredible sense of humor and his contagious laughter; his wit and charm were unmatched. He was the life of every party and will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Saturday, October 7th, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 pm until the time of the Prayer Service there at 7:30 pm, conducted by Rev.
