Gary Allan Strunk, age 73 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Monday, May 19, 2025 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on January 6, 1952 the son of the late James and Reba (Chitwood) Strunk. Gary had been a truck driver for P & T Distributors and a member of the Marshes Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding 4 wheelers and camping.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Byron Strunk; sister, Angela Strunk; and daughter-in-law, Kim Strunk.
Survivors include his son, Jason Strunk and wife Carri of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brother, Gerald Strunk and wife, Lynn of Winfield, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jacob Strunk (Kaity), Brandi King (George), Casen Strunk, Korey Johnson, and Colin Johnson; great-grandchildren, Charles King, Cooper Strunk, and Haizley Strunk; niece Kerry King (Randy); and nephew, Jason Creekmore (Mindy).
Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
