Gary Thomas Obituary
He was born April 28, 1968, in Rowan County, a son of the late Billy Hardin and Sabrina Fraley Hardin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann King Thomas, who passed away January 26, 2017.
Gary is survived by one son, Gary "Bub" Thomas, Jr. of Clearfield; one daughter, Carol Thomas (Emily) of Diamond, Illinois; four stepchildren, Christopher Petre, Tonya Melton, Christine Jennings, and Crystal Petre; and nineteen grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Clifford Thomas (Patty) of Grayson and William Thomas (Nina) of Halderman; one sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Thomas (Jamie Bowling); several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
Gary was employed by Brewer's Electric in Farmers. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family.
At his request, there will be no visitation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
