Dear Kathy,
I heard about Gary´s passing. Though I did not know him well, even as a high school classmate, he was steady, kind, and wise. You will miss him terribly, but I hope being surrounded by your children, grandchildren, and friends will help ease your sorrow. May God walk closely with you as you navigate this unexpected and difficult journey.

Sending my deepest condolences to the VanLoo family. Gary was such a good man and was very much a father figure to me. He will always have a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the service, but want you all to know that I am thinking of you.
