Gary Wall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ballard Funeral Home on Mar. 9, 2026.
Gary L. Wall (70) passed away peacefully at his home March 5th, 2026. He was born February 1st, 1956 in Cody, WY to Carl and Helen Wall. He was the second oldest of his siblings and the first son. In his younger years, he enjoyed track, drawing, painting, various other artistic activities, and fast cars. A favorite being a 1969 Chevy Chevelle. He worked at Celotex (Cody Gypsum Plant) for 30+ years and retired at the age of 50. He became a family man at a younger age. His first marriage blessed him with his first daughter Tiffiannie and son Dustin. Unbeknownst to him, his sister had befriended his lifelong soulmate Cheryl. They met in 1993 and started their life together. Cheryl had a daughter, Jesse, in her previous marriage and together they built their perfect family. In 1997, to their surprise, they had their youngest daughter, E. Paige. In July 2000, they committed their love to each other, and were together 32 wonderful years before he passed. In his down time, Gary enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, and hunting with family and friends. In his last decade, he picked up his love for art again and enjoyed building with wood and legos.

Anyone who knew Gary knew that he was the most loving husband, father, friend, and grandfather a family could ask for. There aren't enough words to express just how greatly he will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl, their children E. Paige (Robert), Tiffiannie (Gary), & Jesse Williams; Brothers Carl M. (Julie) and Arnold; Grandchildren Edison, Trystan, Torri, Shyanne, and Beau; Great grandchildren Roran, Harley, and Damon; Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Carl and Helen, sister Patty, brother-in-law and best friend Bob McClintick, and his son Dustin.

Services for family members will be held March 14, 2026 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (1719 Wyoming Ave, Cody, WY 82414).
