Gary "Gab" Allen Weathers

 

Gary “Gab” Allen Weathers, 66, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, March 6, 2023 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on March 30, 1956 to Carlon and Martha Ellis Weathers.  Gab was a member of Etowah Baptist Church; he loved hunting and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.  Gab ran the little league in Lepanto for several years, he enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandchildren and backyard cookouts.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years: Wanda Sue Weathers, his parents and one brother: Mike Weathers.

Gab is survived by two sons: Brian Weathers and Payton of Lepanto, Arkansas and Bradley Weathers of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one sister: Carla Turner and Lee of Lepanto, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Addison Weathers, Gabrielle Weathers and Laney Weathers, three step grandchildren: Ty Tyler, Carson Tyler and Cayne Tyler, eight step great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 12:00p.m. at Etowah Baptist Church in Etowah, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00a.m. until service time at Etowah Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
