Gary Weber Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Montrose Chapel on Feb. 8, 2025.
Gary A. Weber, of Montrose, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his home on February 6, 2025, at the age of 47. He was born on April 10, 1977, in Saginaw, Michigan. In accordance with Gary's wishes, he will be cremated at O'Guinn Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be announced and held in his honor.
Gary was a phenomenal father, brother, son, uncle, and best friend. He was well-known in the racing communities, having grown up watching cars race and eventually becoming a driver himself. A dedicated heavy equipment operator, Gary also cherished his time off, enjoying hunting, ice fishing, and tubing trips with his kids and friends. Above all, he treasured the moments spent with his grandchildren, whether it was taking them on nature rides in the buggy or sharing laughter and joy during family gatherings.
Gary found joy in working on his race car and spent countless nights enjoying coffee and watching TV with his big brother, Cobb. He loved hunting with his wife, which was a special time for both, and he often looked forward to tubing down the river and dining out with his wife and grandchildren. Additionally, he enjoyed feeding and tending to the animals with Cobb. Gary cherished the times spent and conversations he had about racing and hunting with friends Rickie Moore, Lenny Short, and Brian Newman, as well as the phone conversations and visits with his uncle Donnie. Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Rachel (Smith) Weber, and their children: Richard "Buck" Doyle (Kirstie), Katelyn"Katie Bug"Davison (Braxton), Morgan"Weasel" Weber, Dylan Smith (Kylie), and Cheyenne Brenner (Andrew). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Olivia, Grayson, Hudson, Michael, Oaklynn, and Kendal; Brother, Larry (Christine) Weber; Sister, Sherry Weber; and Step father, Howard Larkin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Diane and Larry Weber, his sister Carrie Ann Turner, his nephew Timmy (Tiny) Taylor, and his cousin Billy Weber.
