Gary Lynn Wilkinson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 79, with family by his side.
Gary lived life on his own terms. He loved his family deeply and held a special place in his heart for each of them. Gary’s sense of community extended beyond mere words; he would do anything for anyone who needed his help, exemplifying what it means to be a true friend.
Gary had a particular fondness for hunting, bowling, golf and "Thirsty Thursdays" with his beloved brother Stacey.
Gary leaves behind his devoted wife, Gayla; his children, Jamie (James), Mary (Lonny), Cary (Amy), and Dawn (Chris); siblings, Stacey, Deana, Pam, Teresa and Wally, as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who will forever remember his love and laughter.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Geraldine Wilkinson and Kenneth Vinton; his mother and father in-law, Lyle and Bethel Jerome; and his sister, Vicky Springsteen. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, love, and the memories shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
Per Gary's request, a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
