Sandra Prill Obituary

Sandra Sue Prill, born May 10, 1961, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, with her husband by her side.

Though named Sandra, she was known to nearly everyone as “Sandi.” The only person who ever called her “Sandra” — and got away with it — was her father, a small but meaningful reminder of their special bond.

Even though the past year and a half were incredibly difficult from a health standpoint, Sandi fought with everything she had. She faced her illness with remarkable strength, enduring countless hospital stays and pushing through rehabilitation with unwavering determination. Her perseverance reflected the depth of her courage and the love she had for her family.

Sandi cherished the many trips she took throughout her life. Her favorite was in 2015, when she proudly convinced her husband to fly for the first time so they could travel together to Las Vegas — a memory she held close. One of her last trips was to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where she enjoyed the mountains with her family and grandchildren just before her health began to decline. Those moments brought her joy, peace, and lasting memories with the people she loved most.

Sandi was the devoted wife of Donald Prill Jr., with whom she shared 45 years of love, partnership, and unwavering dedication. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Donna Snyder.

A loving mother, she raised three sons who were the pride of her life: Michael Prill (wife Sarah), Christopher Prill (wife Jennifer), and Nicholas Prill (wife Melissa). She was also a cherished grandmother to Dustin, Katlyn, Brooklyn, Kyleigh, Oliver, Kaden, Chase, and Owen — each of whom brought her immense joy.

Sandi spent her early years providing childcare from her home while raising her boys, creating a warm and welcoming environment for countless children. She was known for her caring spirit, her generosity, and her remarkable ability to put everyone else before herself. She found happiness in sewing, family gatherings, and especially the time she shared with her grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her big heart, her quiet strength, and the love she poured into her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to join for a memorial and celebration of Sandi’s life, followed by a luncheon, on Monday, December 8th at 11:30 AM at the Casino Club, 3260 Salerno Dr NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
