Gary Michael Wilson passed from this world to the arms of Jesus in the early morning of July 14, 2025
He was born November 29th, 1959 in Jackson, Mississippi and attended French Camp Academy. He lived most of his life in and around Jackson except for a brief time in Miami, Florida where he was employed as a sheet metal worker. Gary loved his family. He liked NASCAR, Football, Game shows and Wrestling. But he especially enjoyed spending time with his sons and granddaughters, and he looked forward to family gatherings because he loved good fun and good food and knew there was always an abundance of both when he was with the extended family.
Gary is survived by his father, Warren Lee Wilson, Step-mother Patsy Jacks Wilson; Wife Ivanna Merritt; Sons Richard (Ariana) Wilson, Gary Michael Wilson, Ross (Crystal) Wilson, Brothers Larry (Gaye) Wilson, Donald (Kim) Wilson; Sister Laura (Chris) Taylor; Grandchildren Lilliana Wilson and Clarissa Wilson; Nephews Trey (Katy) King, Jeremy Wilson, Daniel(Adrianna) Wilson, Joshua (Dallas) Wilson, Timothy Wilson; Nieces Kayla Wilson, Annabel Taylor, Abigail Taylor; Four great-nieces and seven great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Corder Wilson, Grandmother Jane Corder, Grandparents Arthur Wilson, Lou Kraemer, Taylor and Annie Bell Jacks, stepmother, Jean Wilson, and Nephew Matthew Aubrey Wilson.
