Gary was a State Trooper in New Braunfels when I worked for the County Judge and Commissioners Court in the late 70s and early 80s. I got to know him and his wife Jessi at that time. He was what you wanted a police officer to be - dedicated, professional and a well balanced person. He was always upbeat, friendly and with a big smile. It was a pleasure to have known him.
