I was very saddened to hear of Gary´s passing. I first met Gary 3 years ago when I was hired to work in Construction Management. First impressions are important, and I knew when I first met Gary he was going to be an exceptional person to work with. As I got to know and work with Gary over the years, I experienced Gary´s unique sense of humor all in good fun. I will truly miss his smile and laughter and an all-around outstanding person to have the privilege to know and work with, god bless my Friend.

Gary Worth was my cousin. I admired his talents, humor and serious statements that always made me think. Most of my memories of Gary are when we visited with our families as children. He would entertain us on the piano and always made us laugh with his funny remarks. I was so glad that I was able to visit with him at our 2022 Moody reunion. The attached photo was taken during that visit. Blessings to all the family and friends who loved and admired the person Gary was.

As a fellow GMU student, I noticed Gary's intelligent gaze, comments and raised eyebrow. It made me feel that I was at the right place. Then, his poetry came...always new and spot on. He was one of those fellow students who make you push harder w/your own art. You are missed, my dear. <3

Gary and I were follow travelers through the George Mason MFA program and commrades in the group that met after classes at the local bar. A damn good poet, but also a good human to hang out with. Once at a writiers' party we freaked everyone out by describing our favorite gory scenes from early Coen brothers' films. When they insisted we change the subject, we had them try to name all the colors in a box of 64 Crayolas. After my first novel was published and those friends threw me a Fame Party, some came dressed as characters from the book. Gary won Best Costume when he showed up in drag as the elderly Mrs. Bader. So many good times! I hadn't seen him for quite a while, but I liked knowing that he was somewhere on this earth. Safe home, my friend.

So sorry to be informed about the death of Gary. I had the privilege to work with Gary for a number of years at Los Alamos. I consider it a high privilege to work with such a good humored and hard working man.

Gary was my best friend and mentor. We shared many classes at SJC, where he excelled. Gary always displayed self- discipline and a strong work ethic. He turned down a scholarship at Rice University to attend SJC, because he wanted to be in northern New Mexico. I got to know Gary even better through our shared experience of Cancer He never gave up his fight for life and he never complained about his fate. He also continued to work at Los Alamos to the very end. Oriana unstintingly supported Gary. Thank you, Gary!
