Gautam started his fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital, one year after I completed my two years fellowship in Neuroradiology at the same institution. I left Columbia for a couple of years and returned to join him on staff as Assistant Professor. He was a good colleague, friend and a kind human being that will take off his shirt to cover you. I will miss him dearly.

Gautam and I were co-residents together in Radiology residency for 4 years. I knew him well and he was a kind and generous man, I was shocked to hear about his tragic death. I will pray for him and his family and friends. Truly shocking me to my core.

I am so so sorry to hear of Gautam´s passing. I have such fond memories of him, and feel honored to have known him. God be with you as you mourn this precious man.
