Gayle Ann Hess

Gayle Ann (D'Angelo) Hess, 72, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 24, 2025.
Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, John & Jeanne D'Angelo and Wesley Bonenberger.
Gayle is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard Hess, Her three amazing daughters, Dawn (David) McElhinney, Jaime (Donald) Bolger, and Jackie (Matthew) Brooks.
Gayle is also survived by her precious grandchildren Lauren, Kaylee, Austin, Kyleigh, Madalynn, Riley, Madison, Charles, Abigayle, & Keegan and her great grandchildren.
Gayle shared her life with many close friends that will remember her with great fondness and love.
Gayle spent her life caring for others. She selflessly gave her time to help elderly women, who were homebound, feel beautiful. She was a great support to her students in the Mt. Lebanon's life skills classroom. Gayle dedicated a big part of her life caring for Wesley making sure he was a part of the family.
Gayle's favorite pastime was spending time and spoiling her grandchildren. Gayle was a brilliant artist, creating the most amazing cartoon sketches. She loved spending time traveling with Rich, gambling in the casino, and going to art and craft shows. Gayle touched every person she would meet with her infectious personality and caring nature.
