Gaylia was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Grant; her mother, Esther (Louderbaugh) Grant; brothers, Charles and Johnnie Grant; her husband, Leroy Richard Ward; and great-grandson, Landon Stine. She is survived by her sister, Mary (Grant) Hecox; her three children, Marjorie Hecox, Christine (Jonathan) Duree, and John (Marica) Ward; two grandchildren, Cierra Ward and Richard Duree; two great-grandchildren, Aurora and Joseph Stine; many nieces and nephews; and many friends from Grace United Methodist Church and Foster Grandparents.
