Gaylord "Dee" F. Stevens (87) of Greenwich, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Cleveland Metro Hospital as a result of an accident at his residence. He was born December 19, 1937, in Grahn, KY to the late Mary (Whitt) and Gaylord Stevens. Dee was a veteran of the US Army and retired from AK Steel after 31 ½ years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, doing yard work but spending time with his family and friends he cherished most.

Dee is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary (Rogers) Stevens; children, Treva (Jeff) Baker of Ashland, David Stevens of Mansfield, Darlene Lance of Ashland and Sheila Anderson of Ashland; sisters, Pauline Smith of Mansfield and Dorothy Swindall of Loudonville as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jack Stevens and Dreama Kay Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main Street, Greenwich with a funeral service at 11 am Monday, November 24, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ashland County Memorial Park with military rites. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral cost.
