Born on October 25, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Geina was the cherished daughter of J.W. Hatfield and Norma Jean (Knapp) Hatfield.
Throughout her life, Geina dedicated herself to the service of others through a remarkable and compassionate career. She served as a Licensed Practical Nurse for twenty years, providing care and comfort to many. Following this, Geina committed another twenty years serving as a Social Worker for Child Welfare in Oklahoma County, advocating tirelessly for vulnerable children and families. Further demonstrating her dedication to helping those in need, she spent ten years as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor, guiding individuals toward recovery and hope.
Geina’s professional life was marked by a profound commitment to uplifting her community, a trait that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Jenifer Wise, who resides in the family home. Geina also leaves behind three grandchildren: Matthew Wise, Emily Jewel, and Jamie Sullivan, all of McAlester, Oklahoma. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Nova and Corey, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Geina was preceded in death by her beloved parents, J.W. and Norma Siegel; her son, Edward Trammell; and her brother, Daniel Hatfield.
Her family and all who were blessed to know Geina remember her as a dedicated, compassionate woman whose life was defined by care for others and an unwavering spirit of service. She will be deeply missed and forever honored.
