Gene Cook Obituary
Gene was the beloved son of Carol Dunkin, nee Statum, and grew up surrounded by a large and close-knit family. Despite his many travels, Gene remained deeply connected to his roots in Arkansas and visited family wherever they resided.
He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Samual Cook; and sister Cynthia Cook.
Gene's memory lives on through those who knew him best. He is remembered with love by his son: Justin Southern; sister: Dell Drake; brothers: Robert Dunkin and William Dunkin. His legacy also continues through his surviving granddaughter: Sophia Marie Southern as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
May Gene Cook's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of the bonds of family and the strength of enduring love and dedication to family.
The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. A private memorial will be announced at a later time.
