Gene Charles Komick, 78, of Westminster, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long View in Manchester. His gentle spirit, warm laughter, and unwavering dedication to animal welfare will be sorely missed. Surviving Gene are his daughters Tanya Gore and husband Scott of Hanover, PA, Carol Steger and husband Randy and Sarah Komick of Westminster; grandchildren Rachel, Cassy, Randy, Melanie, Becky, Ruth and Riley; 3 great grandchildren and 2 great grandsons on the way. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Armand Gaudette. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at a later date at Cathedral Gardens, Elkridge, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
