Gene Nelson Marmon

Gene N. Marmon, 86, of North Syracuse, NY passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025.  He was a retired truck driver and previous member of St. John's the Baptist.  Gene was in the Army from 1960-1963 with the 587 Engineer Battalion and was stationed in Germany.
Gene was predeceased by his wife, Rosemary Cook Marmon, daughter, Darlene Cook, parents George and Charlotte "Lottie" Marmon, siblings, Sharon Walker, Glenn and Ron Marmon, his stepmother, Frances Marmon, and Daisy, his beloved canine companion.
He is survived by his grandchild, Alexandra Cook, great-grandchild, Charlotte (Preston) Hemlock and great, great-grandchild, Gene Hemlock, his siblings, Alberta and Bob Parry, Debbie and Bob Thomson, Darlene and Travis Field and George and Debbie Marmon, beloved friend, Candace Kranitz, and feline companion of many years, Natalie and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 3 to 6pm with a service to follow at 6pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Syracuse, NY. Burial will be private in Port Leyden Cemetery.
