Super Great. Getting Better Every Day. Be kind to yourself. In the fullness of time.

Gene McClone passed away on October 28, 2022 after a very full, but, in our opinion, short life. He leaves behind to celebrate his life: his partner, wife, and best friend, Mary Ann; daughters Carol and Kathy, and favorite niece, Jodi Campbell. He was the oldest of nine. He is survived by his brother, Dick (Connie) and sisters, Judy (Bob), Midge, Becky, and Mary Kay (Tim). He had six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. We can't forget Murphy, Rooti, and Tigger.

Gene served in the Marine Corps and worked in manufacturing, consulting (where he met Mary Ann), sales, and finally, his love, teaching karate and Tai Chi. He was an exceptional instructor and mentor.

Growing up in Wisconsin and attending the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, he became an avid Badgers fan and occasional Green Bay fan. He saw the light and became an avid Philadelphia sports Phan.

He was a kind, decent, honorable, and humble man who always put others first. He dearly loved his family and was devoted to his wife. He was the dad at the pool who threw kids the farthest with a line of kids begging to be next; never seeming to tire. He cooked a mean batch of soup and his Monday tuna fish. He loved chocolate. He cheerfully answered every "How are you?" With "Super Great. Getting better every day."
