Gene Paul Osborne, 89, of Medina, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home, with Bro. George McMinn and Bro. Willie Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery near Medina. Visitation with the family will take place on Saturday, November 9, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins.
Born in Oakfield, Tennessee, to the late J.D. and Vonceal (Jennings) Osborne, Gene Paul graduated from high school and began working at American Casket Company in Jackson, Tennessee. He continued his career with the Milan Army Ammunition Plant with 18 years of service. Throughout his life, Gene Paul also supported his family through farming, of which he retired. He proudly served in the National Guard for six years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Gene Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Frances Rhodes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Patsy (Hicks) Osborne; daughter, Sherry Osborne; sons, Steve Osborne, Bradley Osborne, Bruce Osborne and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Brent Osborne and wife Shelby. and Brian Osborne; great-grandchildren, Addison, Brooklyn, Solomon, and Naomi.
