Gene Seedorf was born December 7, 1940, in Mansfield, MN, the son of Herald and Dorothy (Janzig) Seedorf. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fort Still, Oklahoma. He married Doris Lee Boyer on March 3, 1962.
Gene died Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Northern Lakes Memory Care in Brainerd, MN. He was 83 years old.
Gene is survived by his wife, Doris Seedorf of Pine River, MN; one son, Randy (Sue) Seedorf of Eden Prairie, MN; one sister, Faye (Lyle) Baseman of Ely, MN; two grandchildren, Robert and Derek Seedorf; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Audrey Giese and June Harrison; and two brothers, Evan and Mark Seedorf.
