Gene H. Sherman, 90, of Fulton died Monday July 28, 2025 in Syracuse.

He was born in the village of Clinton, NY the son of the late Elmo and Grace (Hull) Sherman. Mr. Sherman was an automobile salesman at Romano Olds, where he received many accolades for being the top salesman. Mr. Sherman also was a machinist working for Black Clawson, Allen Tool, and retired from Davis Standard. Mr. Sherman served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1957 as a paratrooper and was stationed in Germany.

He was predeceased by his wife Armeine Sherman.

Mr. Sherman is survived by his sons Mark (Michele) Sherman of Fulton, and Todd (Cheryl Brown) Sherman of Pennellville. He is also survived by his companion Nancy Fullerton of Fulton, two grandsons Dalton and Ryan Sherman, his sister Mary Lou Zeigler of Oswego, brothers Richard Sherman of Phoenix, and Miller (Fran) Sherman of Oswego, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2 nd. St. S. Fulton.
