Genevieve Lorraine WINCE "Genny" BERRY

GENEVIEVE LORRAINE "GENNY" WINCE BERRY, daughter of John and Mildred Wince, was born in Muscatine, Iowa, on August 12, 1934, and departed this life November 29, 2025, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of ninety-one years.

"Genny" grew up in Iowa, and graduated from High School there. She was united in marriage with Leon Berry, and to this union was born one son, Virgil. Later she and her family moved to California and she began employment with Pacific Telephone (AT&T) for many years. She worked hard and made many lasting relationships with her co-workers.

In the 1990's, she and Leon moved to Lebanon, to be near their son Virgil, who would become their caregiver. "Genny" enjoyed playing boardgames, but also taking road trips with Virgil, whether out of state, or on local gravel roads, she loved being together with him.

She is survived by her devoted son, Virgil Berry of Lebanon, MO; seven grandchildren; many great grandchldren and many great-great grandchldren; other relatives and friends.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; her step-mother; five brothers, Bill, John, Sam, Charles and Raymond; and by two sisters, Betty and Sharon.

"Genny" was a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother and dear friend. She will be greatly missed.
