Genevieve Mash Obituary

Genevieve (Gennie) Schmidt Mash, 77, of Beebe went to be with the Lord on Oct. 13, 2024.

Gennie was born June 2, 1947, one of eight children, to Lawrence and Anna Schmidt. She married James on June 3, 1970. Gennie was an RN, having graduated nursing school in 1968.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, James; sons, James, Jr. (Sherry), Chris (Lisa), David (Dana) and Clint (Shelby); six grandchildren (Arebella awaits her in Heaven); a sister, Barbara, of Helena and a brother, Steven (Lori), of Kansas; and sister-in-law, Freida White of Vilonia.

The family wants to thank Lisa K. for helping take care of Gennie.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Drive, Beebe, Ark. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Antioch Cemetery. To view the online register, please visit www.smithfamilycares.com/westbrook.
