Gentry Redfield Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 29, 2026.
Gentry Chase Redfield, 31, of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Gentry Chase Redfield was born on March 24, 1994, at Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico to Kenneth Charles Redfield Jr. and Amelia C'Hair. He grew up attending school at Benny Benson High School in Anchorage, Alaska. Throughout his life, Gentry lived in Texas, New Mexico, Alaska, North Carolina, and Florida, often near Air Force bases, before settling in Pahrump, Nevada.

On November 25, 2018, Gentry married the love of his life, Cathryn "Cat" Mae Conrad, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they built a life in Pahrump, where he worked as an automotive technician. Gentry was known for his skill and passion for working on cars, and he took pride in his work at Drew's Tire Pros and Alignment Technician.

Gentry was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was described as a "go-getter" who lived life to the fullest and carved his own path. He loved attending music concerts, working on cars, and participating in automotive events. He enjoyed bowling, golf on weekends, pool league, basketball, and gaming with friends.

He had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone who crossed his path. Gentry never knew a stranger and cared deeply about others. He was especially loving, respectful, and outgoing-traits that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Gentry is survived by his wife, Cathryn "Cat" Redfield of Pahrump; his children, Aniyah, Braydin, and Jayce; his father, Kenneth Charles Redfield Jr.; his mother, Amelia Stepetin; his sisters, Kenlin Redfield and Rochelle Stepetin; his brother, Kenneth Redfield III; and numerous extended family members and friends.

A Vigil service with a Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Eagle Hall with a wake to follow. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.
