The words about George M. Andrews are endless and without boundaries. He was such a kind soul, always willing to help even when he was taking from himself to give to others. He loved football, but Alabama most of all. Roll Tide! He loved being outdoors, enjoying the simple pleasures. He had man's best friend by his side, Rufus, for 16 years and they were inseparable. He was a considerate and devoted family man. He truly had the best heart, and was not afraid to share it openly. He was stubborn in the best way, always giving advice and wisdom, even if you didn't know you needed it. He was the best of us. His presence and spirit will be greatly missed. Earth may have lost an incredible person, but Heaven has gained a deserving and beautiful angel.
Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his Sister-Melvialee White; Brother-Adrien Andrews; Mother-I.V. Andrews; Father-Grady M. Andrews; Nephew-Roger White.
He is survived by his Daughter-Tia Andrews of Jasper; Granddaughters-Tiffany Reynolds and Christina Lawley; Great Granddaughter-Lexi Reynolds; Son-in-law-Donald Jacobs.
