George J. Beccaria III, 80, of Lenhartsville, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.
George was born July 3, 1942, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Helen (Petko) and George J. Beccaria Jr.
He was the husband of Carol Lee (Culbert) Beccaria.
George served in the Navy.
He was a member of Cressona American Legion and Kempton Fire Company.
He last worked as a quality control manager at Tray-Pak Plastics, in Reading.
George is survived by two daughters, Barbara, wife of Terry Stick, of Reading, and Donna, wife of Matt Bowman, of Royersford; daughter-in-law, Michele, wife of Scott MacKenzie, of Collegeville; a son, David, husband of Kat Beccaria, of Phoenixville; a stepdaughter, Terri Lynn, wife of Edward Keyworth, of Orwigsburg; a stepson, Todd, husband of Laura Berger, of Rhode Island; a sister, Eileen, wife of John Clarke, of Ventnor, N.J. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, in Cressona, with the Rev. Kevin Fruchtl officiating. Interment will be in Cressona Cemetery. Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements, with cremation provided by Riverside Cremation Services, both of Schuylkill Haven.
