Mr. George Elbert "Skip" Bennett, 73, of Tobe Wells Rd. Elberton, GA passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Skip was born November 20, 1952 in Elberton, GA to George Thomas Bennett, II and Sara June Wells Bennett. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and was an retired pulpwooder.
He is survived by his sons: Lucas Bennett, George Thomas Bennett, III; grandchildren: Billie Bennett, George Thomas Bennett, IV, Grayson Bennett and Grant Branyon; his mother Sara June Wells Bennett; siblings: Marsha Hood, James Bennett and Juanita Geter.
Memorial services will be held 11AM, Friday, December 26, 2025 at Celebration Outreach Center in Elberton, 1333 Washington Highway.
Berry Funeral Home and Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. George Elbert "Skip" Bennett.
