George J. Age 74. Passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 48 years to Sharon (nee Rhine) Beren. Loving father of Gina (William Tobin) and Danielle. Loving brother to Nicholas (Marie) Beren, Donna (the late James) McLaughlin, Christine (Steve) Valerio, Sandy (Harry) Strohm, and Michele Rhine Patricelli. Proud uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Caring friend, cousin and stand in dad to all those who needed him. George will always be remembered for his kind heart and large presence.
Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING Friday January 26, 2024 from 9am to 10:30am at The Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11th and Jackson Sts. His funeral mass will follow at 11am. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center or Mount Saint Joseph Academy in George's name.
